Newb M14 Fanatic

Hey guys, I've been floating around the site for a couple of weeks now and have found tons of great information. I have always been a fan of the M14 and was surprised to learn it was very obtainable! I am on the waiting list to complete my PAL in the shortest possible time frame, but being as inpatient as I am I have already purchased my first M14 through the EE. It is registered to a friend and will be kept in his possession until I get my PAL complete. I'm excited for a new hobby as I've eaten and slept GM performance and auto for the past 3 years, not that I'm done with that...

I'm a big time DIYr and have found all the stickies very helpful, very awesome resource here. I live just west of Ottawa so hopefully run into some of you guys soon.

Wow. I just noticed that the front of the Archangel stock seems to have been molded specifically to accept the Magpul Angled Fore Grip. Seems like an odd design consideration.
