Since this is my first long range rig that i have set up, i have a few questions about my scope. It is a MK4 6.5-20x50 with a mildot. Now for my questions. Actually, i think im looking for more of an agreement on whether or not im right. anywho!

If i dial up/down 4 clicks, that i would 1 MOA. Now, if i zero my rifle at 100 yards and then at 500 yards, according to my Sierra program and my rough calculations of my FPS on my rounds(havent chronyed it yet) its states that the drop is -7.5MOA. Now If i have the turrets zeroed at 100 yards and i wanna change that to 500 yards, i would need to change my turret by 7.5 MOA(30clicks). Now, is that Down(clockwise) or up(counterclockwise). ive only been able to work up my loads and am planning to go out shooting on friday. any help would be great.

Yea. It does. But I always get confused. I can never remember which way to go. I'm trying to think of the bullet impact in corolation with the direction of the crosshairs. Always messes me up. Is there an easier way to remember it?

One way that I was taught and always remember is think of it like a bolt. You want the bullet to go down so you screw the turret down. Want the bullet to go up screw the turret up. Want it to go left turn left.

This works on most, but not all scopes. It has become reflexive for me, which means I'll turn my Zeiss' backwards if I don't stop to think about it.

It is the z-1000 conquest. I just had a guy interested in it and pm'ed me but he is down in the US and wasnt aware of my location. Not much interest in it here, at least for what I am asking.:bangHead:
