Hi! I'm an ex-biathlon shooter, still like to go out plinking with semi-automatic .22s every once in awhile, my heart is forever with bolt action Anschutz though. Can't afford to keep up with the sport now

I volunteer with an army cadet corps and hope to be sworn into the cadet instructors cadre by next spring. I'm trying to get a shooting team ramped up, as when I was in army cadets I was quite successful not only with the biathlon shooting aspect but also as a competitive marksman. I love the cadet program and think more kids (aged 12-19) should be part of it. It's free!! Tell your friends. I'm in Kelowna, if you know of any kids who are interested please send me a message and I can give you some info about it.

A little more about what I like to shoot, CGN user Hotwheels81 has introduced me to the wild world of shooting shotguns and I've really come to enjoy it. Nothing like coming home after a day of blasting with a sore shoulder and a sense of accomplishment! Also I have learned how to use muzzle loaders, and I think black powder shooting is really neat. I also would like to improve my accuracy with handguns because I think they are a lot of fun.

Anyway that's it, just wanted to introduce myself :)
 
Indeed! Unfortunately there are not nearly enough women who dig guns, it's a shame. I bet men and women would get along much better if they had shooting in common! I know myself and Hotwheels81 always have a great time together at the range...
 
hello there

im down in grand forks how are u doing. im new to the site as well and am just getting back into shooting. i learnt to shoot in air cadets when i was about 13. me and my wife were out shooting pellet guns and we decided to get into shooting real guns. im a rifle type and she would like getting into pistols.if you here of anything cool in kelowna to do with guns or compatitions pm me
