Is there a thread for newbies which states the historical progression of laws as they relate to canadian gun owners? Basically i am looking for a thread which takes the many kernels of knowledge disseminated through out the various forums and centralizes them? For example, the various bills since the 90's were we lost rights, what each change meant in plain english, and the associations we can join to become politically active. I haven't been able to find a place to read up on the issues and quickly gain knowledge from the experienced cgn have acquired. Also why are we not using the same kind of spin on the government they us on us in the media? All the recent killings in the Vancouver area screams for the argument of the removed right to defend ourselves from armed criminals? What about the government stepping in and eliminating the 5 billion dollar a year industry of gun sales in these harsh economic times? What do we have to do in order to educate the anti gunners about responsible firearm ownership instead of gun control? How do we go about being noticed on the evening national news?
