"Newbie" classification

I have been a member on here since 2007. How long do I remain a "Newbie" and how exactly does that work??

It's related to post counts. It's a measure of how much you interact and are part of this community.

The status has nothing to do with your firearms abilities or the size of your barrel.

Yeah, it related to your post count and posts in the EE and off-topics areas don't count toward your post count. The only way to change your status is to participate in some discussions.
