Hey guys, another new guy here. I hope to learn a lot about firearms and possibly purchase a few here. I've been hunting for a few years now but wasn't successfull untill last fall when I finally got a 4 pt. mulie that ran across the road in front of us while we were riding our dirtbikes to hunt for moose.
I inherited a .270 Winchester and a 12 ga Defender in the spring and am looking to expand my collection and get a rifle for my wife and a .22 for the grouse. Because I inherited the guns I own, I didn't get out and do some research before buying a rifle like most people do so I am fairly uneducated about firearms. I just know the basics really. I know that I like to get out and shoot at targets and tasty animals that walk between the crosshairs of my scope. I'll be out on 3-4 weekend hunting trips this fall, no time for anything longer this year. I'm hoping to get a moose this fall but may settle for another mulie because I know where they like to hide and I'd like to keep a full freezer.
Anyways, I'll probably be just a lurker for a while but won't be afraid to ask a question or two.
