Newbie from Toronto

Hello everybody, I am glad I found such a good forum, there is a lot of info. About myself, I've been hunting for 5 years, bow and rifle, sometimes ducks or goose. Got interested in pistols, looking in CZ 75 sp-01 9mm. I think it is a decent pistol for a start, any comments appreciated.

Hey, Welcome! What area of Toronto are you in if you don't mind me asking? I'm in The Beach. I've got the chance to shoot a friends CZ 75 definitely a nice pistol long trigger pull thought that I didn't like IMHO.

Hi. You won't go wrong with a CZ. However, there are so many really fine pistols on the market, you should try 100 rounds through as many different ones as possible.

I am from Thornhill. About long triger pull, I head that changing a triger to CZ 85 Original Trigger with Overtravel Screw will help to adjust the triger.

My suggestion is to avoid modifying your stock gun until you have put many rounds through it.

Since you live in Thornhill, visit Target Sports. You can choose from a good variety of popular handguns and shoot them on their indoor range.
