Newbie Here with 500 & 44 S&W Magnum plus ...

Recently purchased a S&W 500 Mag, 44 S&W Mag, Ruger 45 ACP (to be shipped next week) and a 357 Magnum Taurus.

Looking to learn how to reload but apart from the local gunsmith can anyone help. If I am looking to reload all 4 calibers so what would be the best equipment to buy?

Does anyone have some favorite loads for 25 - 50 - 100 yrd target? Not a hunter (can't hunt with a handgun in Canada) but decided to get serious with a hobby.

Took the 500 S&W to the range recently with Hornady 500 S&W 350 gr XTP Mag and put about 40 rounds down range before the hand started to hurt. Now that is a cannon!

Any private help would be appreciated.
 
It would help if you put a location into your profile so we know where you are located.

I use a Lee Classic Turret press (the 4 hole version) and find it does a good job unless you want to load huge piles of ammo in short order. It is easy to put 120 rounds per hour through once you get set up and that is adequate for me. I load everything from 9mm Makarov to .338 Win Mag on that press with no issues.

I am located in Kelowna, BC and will update my location on my profile. Mainly, I am looking to see what would be the best equipment to start with and then if anyone is in my area that has a lot of experience in reloading, I would like to touch base. Last thing I would want to do is try this on my own and "overload" a 500 S&W cartridge. Don't know if that is possible but have heard a few stories .. :)
