Hey there,

I'm a relatively new hunter/firearms fan from NB. Born in 1980 so I just had to challenge the exams and have now had my PAL and hunter's education for 5 years. My main interests are grouse hunting, deer hunting (though I've yet to get one, I still love the hunt, and plan on being much more serious about it this year), clay shooting, and...if I ever get my name drawn...moose hunting :). I guess I shouldn't complain, many New Brunswicker's have gone a lot longer than 5 years for a moose license.

That's about it. I signed up as a friend had mentioned that he loved the site and that it was great for general discussion, awareness and for exchanging firearms.

If anyone knows of some grouse hot spots that are closer to Fredericton than the Dungarvon area (and feels like giving up their secret) feel free to message me :) I usually hunt in the woods northeast of Stanley, whatever public lands I can find.

anywhere in gagetown training area. ask range control first and dont forget to get the map from range control.

I remember working as a forward observations officer for a Squadron Commander's Course a few years back. It seemed there was a hunting truck parked every kilometer. Plenty of hunters.

Make sure you get a map, and stay away from the impact areas. :D
