hey everyone, newbie here, basically im 18, im serbian (proud of it:)) basically wanted to drop in and say hi and learn more about the ### gun laws here... basically i fired my first gun when i was 13, was a Tokarev TT 7.62x25mm if im not mistaken, on the same day i also fired a CZ99 and my uncles army issued AK47 (this was back home in serbia:D) i want to learn more about the gun laws and all the steps required to obtain a firearm here.

If you're visitng from Serbia, you might find it hard to obtain a license, but if you were to be Canadian and proud of it... then you've got a reasonably good chance.

im proud of both and i got my citizenship like 12 years ago, hell ive been living here since i was 4 (i know english better then serbian :redface::redface:) its with the current political sh**storm thats happening over there with our radical muslim neighbors that i became more patriotic:):sniper:

Firearm licencing and shooting sports in Canada is a complex and expensive endeavour. Take the courses, write the exams and submit your application for your RPAL. With that, you could go to a U.S. range and rent a firearm - you don't need the licence, but the course would bring you up to speed on the safe handling/firing of firearms and range procedures.

Bingo. On my mother's side re a certain heritage, been Proud Canadians here for thousands of years. Everyone else since about 1790. So welcome to Kanata. CANADA. A small translation problem with Cartier in 1535 with Chief Donnacona. If you can get your licence , start enjoying your new homes heritage, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Throw in some target shooting also. Welcome

I was actually thinking of PMing you for an explaination as I thought it might be offensive to people of Serbian Background.

oh its an old name that 1 of my friends made up a few years back, i was too lazy to make a name so i sticked with it :redface:
