Hi guys

I am just getting into IPSC. I own a M&P 9MM

I will be buying a CR hi torque belt with 4 CR versa pouch.

My real question is what type of holster should I get.

Is a speed holster O.K. for production or should I buy something like a Comp-tac or Fobus. I was also looking at the Blade tech DOH.

I know freedom ventures has the CR Speed holsters for the M&P although they are $$$$$$. I don't mind spending the money if they are that much better.

Any help would be awsome.

Just go with the Blade Tech. They are an excellent rig; safe, quite reasonably priced and ideal for Production Division. If you decide at some point in the future that the potential of gaining an extra tenth of a second on your draw is going to be worth the extra $$, the CR will always be there for you.

That the same gear my wife uses
Works great
When she goes to a different gun she can use the same holster

for a new-to-IPSC shooter,...I would say the Bladetech DOH. You could get a fobus,..but the Bladetech is a nicer,..cleaner holster. It is adjustable with out having to cut or bend stuff.

BUT, for mag pouches and belt, I would recommend the CR-Speed platform. Easy to use and a good price.
