This may be obvious to some, but I assume that the controlled hunt WMU's for deer control the number of hunters, but not the ### of the deer taken, right? It just doesn't seem to say that explicitly anywhere in the regs.

So, it can be buck, doe or yearling, correct?

It is called a controlled hunt because of controlled hunter numbers.The validation tag you receive allows you to take a deer of either ### or any age.
