Newbie question about CZ75

I would go for it.I own one and shot about 1000 rounds and no problems.The take down is simple.The only problem is some people find the trigger a bit far ahead in when using double action other wise it's a good pistol.:)

Am looking for a 9mm plinker and have the chance to get a CZ75. Any caveats that I should know about? Good gun? Bad gun? Thanks.
Great gun. Do the new ones have right and left side safeties. My old 85 did. Accurate, reliable, simple to take down. CZ was the base for many other gun developers, especially in Europe where it was used by most military and police. Excellent gun. Price is great, but not because it gives anything up to the more expensive guns. You can't go wrong with a CZ!:D :D :D

Ditto. I have a CZ85 Combat. Love it. Fits the hand well, shoots great, no malfunctions. Excellent value. If you can, I suggest you go for the 85 Combat as it is a bit more tricked out with better sights, ambidex controls and a sight ramp.

I have a CZ 85 A great gun,2000 rounds through it and no problems. Easy to clean , comfy in hand and left or right handed. My shooting partner has a 75, it's a bit heavier and a few miss fires(due to spring changing and tinkering) but also very accurate and cozy in your hand. Either one would be a great first gun. A very good $$ value.

Check the date stamp. If it is made in 1987 do not buy it. The 1987 75s had a problem with quality control. I have an 87 and I like it, but I am just letting you know that if you buy one from that year you may find slight problems with it after becoming familiar with it.

CZ75 = Good Pistol.

I've owned a couple.... two thumbs up! ;)

If I didn't have BHP MkIII's I'd have CZ's in 9mm & .40 S&W. Might go for one in dedicated .22 long rifle, too. :cool:
