Newbie question about mounting red dot.

Bought a UTG Super Slim RDM20 45 Degree Angle Mount and Eotech mini red dot(Delta point pro=footprint).
I have now found out that the footprints do not match up.

Can I make this mounting plate work?
or can I buy an mounting plate adapter?
or should I just source a new mounting plate with Deltapoint pro footprint?

You can probably find an adapter but it would more than the price of that mount. I'd find another mount with the correct footprint.
