Newbie Question about PM's

A question from a newbie.

When trying to send someone a private message my message is not showing up as being sent in my "sent messages" folder, and I can not see anything explaining why the message was not sent. The member had posted in the EE forum which I have applied to and have been granted access to.

Anyone know why this may be happening and any recommendations on how to contact the user? They do not have a email attached to their profile.

Your preference settings are not set to save a copy of sent messages.
Go to the top right of the page, click on settings. Go through the menu on the left side of the page. Change the setting to keep copies.
