Newbie question bullet type.

Hey folks. Found I have much more imr 4831 than 4350 so I thought I’d see if they have a recipe for my 270wsm in 4831. Yay hooray they do. I’m just curious can I use any 140gr bullet with their recipe? I have Nosler Accubonds. Thanks for responses.

Yes you can. Check Nosler's website for the load data for the Accubonds.

The one exception is with the all copper/brass/ect bullets (tsx, gmx, e-tip, ect). Even then, as long as you start low and work up you'll be fine. I'm not exactly sure the reasoning, although nosler says to always start with min loads with E-tips due to internal construction differences.

The load work-up process will take care of the variability from bullet to bullet and gun to gun. Having said that, the Nosler data is right a lot more than its wrong.
