Newbie Question - hitting low with new pistol

wicked_police, I stand corrected. I went to the range today, after reviewing my grip fundamentals. With the large backstrap on my pistol, I was no longer shooting low at 10 yds, but right on at 10, 15, and 20 yds. I take a lesson from this. I was quite sure that it was the gun/grips that caused the low hits but it was me.
