Hi. I'm looking for advice as I can't find any load data to start with.
I was loading my 6.5 creedmoor by load data I could find on hogdons website. The load I was using was a 140gr Hornaday interlock, 40.5 grains of staball powder with an oal of 2.75-6. it worked pretty good.
I got my wife to order me some more projectiles and by mistake she ordered 129gr. I thought no big deal I'll just look up the load data and go from there. The problem is there is no listed load data that I can find. The hogdon website lists 130gr nosler for staball powder, but not 129gr.
So being as new as I am, I figured I'll ask the pros what to do here. The easy answer is to switch powders I guess to one that's listed, but I have 3 pounds of staball 6.5 here.
Is it ok to start out with the low side of the 130gr nosler data?
Also I forgot to mention my manual has no listing at all for staball powder.
Sorry for this question but I want to make sure before I go ahead and do this.
