Newbie question

So I have started trying to roll my own ammo, and so far i have resized the necks on about 20 rounds of 30-06. Everything is going great, except on the down stroke it gets stuck on the neck expander(I think thats what it is). I can force it past, but its really quite hard and Im pretty sure its not normal. Do I put some lube on it to help it past? whats going on here?

Put on the lube on inside the neck only part and not the shoulder in or out. Make sure you smooth lube the case not over lube as you starting then dies usually getts more smoother

If you run a nylon brush in the neck prior to resizing you will have a lot less resistance from the expander. It tends to "hold" onto the carbon left in the neck.

and after I do that I swab a bit of Redding resizing wax on the inside of the neck, runs through the die real smooth

I use the Forster thingy with the white mica powder, just dip the neck mouth in the white stuff and seems to work very well. FS
