Hi folks, I have a quick newbie question for you that I couldn't find an answer for. If I were to buy a non-restricted right now from a dealer, say Ellwood Eps, can I choose to NOT register it and then do so at my leisure later? Or does the store register it automatically? Thanks.

Let's not count our chickens before they hatch, the registry isn't gone yet. I would highly doubt a dealer would release it to you without registering it to you, puts their a$$ on the line for no reason. Cross our fingers, in a few months we won't have to worrie about the silly registry.

Damn. OK, thanks guys. I just can't wait to get rid of the damned LGR. Too bad we can't get rid of LGR supporters as well.

There nothing wrong with the registry it self.

It's not the flaming hoop that's so bad. It's the real potential for misuse of the registry info for very little, if any, benefit. And that's the reason I want to see it gone! Register and check on criminals who are prohibited from possession. Leave us alone.

What flaming hoops?
And there are many very wrong things with the registry itself. The fact that its only true usefulness is for confiscation is the main one.
