I have been shooting in Ontario for a few years now but a new member of Canadian Gun Nutz.
My question is: did anybody own or used a Sig Mosquito? How does it perform?
The reason I'm asking is that my wife just bought me one (NIB) this weekend equipped with holster, 2 mags, red dot optics, etc. It has not cleared CFO yet (hopefully in 3 to 4 weeks). This will be my first 22. I shoot 45s and 9mm.
I just want to know what to expect 'cause I am really.....really excited. Specially when it is fully approved by the wife.

Thanks......

Mine only works with CCI Mini-Mags. It is poorly constructed, I have had the safety lever on the slide fall off twice now, the screw for the takedown lever backs out and the front site lifts off the slide while firing. I have loctite blue all over the damn pistol now, that should hopefully hold it together. Not worth the money IMHO... Shoulda bought a Buckmark or a Ruger.

4weeks? I did transfer couple of weeks ago it was done in one week...

anyways I've shot one; and have to say wan't impressed may too many feeding problems with copuple different ammo brands...maybe some are better than others.

I also just got myself a .22 and have been shooting centerfires for years, the gun I got is a Norinco figured can't go wrong for the money.

When I got my USP9F summer last year it took 3 and a half weeks. Maybe some days they are not too busy........

Got mine about a month ago, put about 1500 through her already with maybe 5 failures in total, It was 150 rounds of cci stingers first then since has been the copper washed federal bulk pack. 550rnds for 15$. No failures with the stingers just the feds. Don't really form an opinion about it before you get it. After you shoot it for a couple hours it makes my xd feel like its a 454.

I have shot two of these recently. Had issues with both . one had FTF and the other had loading problems. Some people who are stuck with these call it "ammo fussy" but it's really not worth the headache to me. There are some people out there who lucked out and got a good one though.
Sig shouldn't have made a $500 pistol. It seems to be marring their otherwise stellar name.
