Hi all,

I've posted this on another section, but will try my luck here.

I'm relatively new to the shooting sports and hunting world. I've enjoyed my time at my local ranges. (Don't know anyone who hasn't) I'll have the opportunity to travel to the west coast in mid June and will most likely have the opportunity to take a day off work.

I'd like to spend that time experiencing some west coast ranges. Handgun and long range. Haven't had a chance to shoot past 200y locally.

Are there any locals that can recommend a range to visit? Are there any places that offer non-member visits with rentals? (Won't be able to travel with firearms).

If no rentals available, any willing to hang out at the range for a few hours? Of course, I'll pay for the ammo, etc.
Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.

I don't think any of our ranges in the kelowna area go past 300 yards. My range goes to 200, no rentals either. You can head out on a logging road and find some longer areas to stretch out. I have a spot above my place that i can get 600 without too much difficulty setting up.

I figured most places wouldn't have rentals. It was hard to find around here also.

As they say, "beggers can't be choosers". I wish to keep this as simple and effortless (on the locals part) as possible. Don't want to be a burden. If anyone was going to the range on the 17th or 18th, I'd love to just "jump in", as they say.
