Last week I passed my PAL/RPAL exams and I am anxiously waiting for the paper from the CFO to apply for my license. I am not entirely new to shooting - long time ago while in the military service of a certain eastern european country I had my own AKM and I have shoot with it quite a few times
. I have even shoot a TT pistol with reasonable accuracy.
For a long time after I came to Canada I wasn't really interested in the gun ownership issues but when I finally looked into it and found out about bill C-68 I became incensed! I now want to get my license and some guns (both unrestricted and restricted) not only because shooting is a very fun and relaxing activity but also to show my support for the gun rights and opposition to the gun control movement.
I found out about this site a few days ago so I registered and since spent lots of time to read and learn - you are all a great bunch and it sure feels good be a member of this community. I will have lots of questions to ask and I'm sure you will be very helpful - thanks in advance!
