I have been involved with firearms for over 45 years now. WOW it doesn't seem like it. Spent many years as instructor with Junior Rifle. (Sprucewoods, home of the champions). Have been rolling my own rifle cartridges for past 25 years.I was a Canadian Firearms Safety instructor but withdrew accreditation because I feel too many vendors are by-passing the only good part of C68 with "backroom instruction".

Hope to make some new friends here and possibly help with a few topics, and get help on others.
 
Welcome to the forum Tagalong! There is an AMAZING depth of knowledge on all types of firearms and shooting on here so ask your ?'s and the answers will come.

You are correct in saying there is "backroom instruction" going on. There are people out there who need proper firearm instruction.
Whereabouts in Manitoba are you? I don't see a lot of Manitobans here at CGN, or at least they don't show their location as such.
 
Great to see some fellow Manitobans on here. I hope everyone realizes that we must do our part to keep this province a secret. Let everyone go to Sask. or Alberta to get the wee deer they have and we can keep our bigguns to ourselves.
 
There are some of us who no longer appreciate shooting from the kneeling position because it hurts too d**n much when we try to stand up after the round!:p
