Welcome to the gunnutz family. Always great to add a new member. Greetings from SEOntario. Im a huge fan of 10/22s and have built about 20 and owned at least 40 different ones. Great design and mags with a plethora of aftermarket parts if upgrades are wanted. My present gun is only ruger mag and all else is aftermarket components but man it shoots awesome and completely reliable.

Unlike Longstud I've never owned or even shot a 10/22.
