well, just got my upper from the PO about 45 minutes ago.
heres what it looks like with my fakepoint. cant wait to get a real aimpoint or eotech.
stag lower, dont know about the upper.

next up i need a sling plate so i can use my BFG sling.
and a set of OD handguards.

Nice lightweight build, congrats. Tell us more about the upper, any stamps or markings? Check the barrel for any inscriptions. The upper looks to be a correct 14.5" M4 profile, what does the barrel look like under the handguards? It's either a Colt, Armalite (do they make a gov't thin barrel) or an unmarked LMT (lucky find if it is).

hmmm, i will have to look.
all i could find when i skimmed over it was on the barrel. "5.56 nato"
ill take a closer look for more markings on my lunch break.

It's a Cardinal Forge upper. I hadn't heard of them myself but thought that the marking kind of looked like a Cardinal and googled it up.

ah ha. i was looking at it as if the head was looking to the right, but if i look at it the other way its aparent what it is.
i saw that last night and couldnt figure out what it was.

thats interesting, i have never heard of this brand before.
seems to be of good quality though. going to go shooting in about 45 minutes.
