Newest addition LB 1945 No4 Mk1* with PH5C sight

Picked this up at the Brandon gunshow today. All matching numbers with LB marked parts. Thought it was a T at first but put my specs on and it turned in to a 7. Forend has been replaced at one time but the numbers on it are the same as the butt stock. Bot have C broad arrow. It has a PH5C sight with the the front globe sight too. I don't know much about these sights other than I like it. Can someone educate me a bit about them?

Great buy Dave, I'm sure Smellie will be along to let you know about that gun. I believe I was inspecting that same rifle at the gun show today, good to see a fellow gun nut picked it up.

Thanks Tinman204. Good talkin with you today at the show and at Jo Brooks. Didn't realise that you were a CGN'r too. Small world eh! Enjoy that Ross. I've had a couple and had a good time with them. And ya I grew up with the exploding Ross myth and remote fired my first one. Probably didn't have to but I felt better for it. Anyway enjoy both your purchases.

Most likely a DCRA rifle. Used in competetive rifle shooting.
