Newly arrived 7.62 P-Mag from Magpul

Just received in these new magazines from Magpul

PMAG® 20 LR/SR GEN M3™ 7.62X51MM NATO

Can you explain to me why these are allowed to be true 20-round mags? Were they designed specifically for a bolt gun or something to avoid the 5-round limit?

Hey..... these will work in the Ruger Precision Rifle, but why bother with a 5/20 when my M14 magazine (5/20) works in my RPR?

Then again, I do love my Magpul 5/30's... heh heh!

I have Magpul 5 rd. .308 magazines for my Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle already and they fit the Ruger Precision Rifle magazine well just nicely!

I might just have to buy a couple; because we CAN! yuk yuk yuk

Can anyone tell me why the smaller cap mags tend to cost more than the 25s and even 30s? Supply and demand? I'm looking for 5 Rd pmags for a decent price but they are all signifantly more

I was going to ask how you convinced them to make a custom mag for a fairly limited market. Oh well.

No where in the original post nor the website does it say blocked to five or pinned to five from what I can see. No explanation needed regarding the meaning of blocked or pinned though thanks.. just wanted to know what this mag can hold legally.

It shouldn't need to be said. Any rifle magazine designed to fit a semiauto rifle is pinned to 5, Pistol mags to 10, etc etc. Shouldn't need to be advertised as there are no exceptions.
