couple of dealers are already taking pre-orders on century arms US made receiver rifles VZ2008 .

they were expecting them to be in country by now but now who knows .

There are receivers being manufactured in the US.
Don't know if these would be exportable.
Depending on how things go, there could be a real business opportunity.

Certainly if the Federal Govt Tendered a contract for 10K of Canadian made replacement 858 receivers. To be traded 1 for 1. Lawful owners would not pay any taxes, the Govt would be covering the gaff generated by Rotten Carrots and Mashed Potatos.
The expense would be removed from the RCMP's operating budget.
Accountability fellas that's how it gets metered out.

Good idea. They approved it originally. They should replace it if it was their error.
Justs like when car manufacturers goof up, they are forced to do recalls and fix/replace their errors.

obviously from the US would be quicker cos they are already heading this direction but its wont be cheap , centurys receiver sells any where from $250-300.

from china would be a lot cheaper but it would take time to set everything up.

Isn't it fairly difficult to press the barrel in/out of these firearms? I'm assuming it can't be done in a run of the mill shop press....

Tell me again how every AR-15 clone manufacturer submits a fresh sample of their guns for approval.
