I was running out at the Surrey lake and I noticed a sign in front of a barbed wire fence. It said the area was maintained by the Newton Hunters Club and the dates it was active.
Does anyone have any info on this? What do they hunt there, the area is very close to some homes and a golf course so I assume rifles aren't used there, only shotguns firing birdshot or something like that.
