The next question is who stocks 7.62x39 brass? I have tried a few different sites and sponsors and nobody has it. Frontier has some loaded rounds but the shipping is cost prohibitive. I want to load up some hunting rounds because the mil surplus is illegal to hunt with.

What rifle are you hunting with. What surplus ammo do you feed it? If you are okay feeding the surplus ammo, then all you have to do is change the bullet. If you are going to load a 125gr bullet, I simply swap them out(3 dear in 2 years under 150yds).
If you want to hunt further/bigger, then go to the 150gr bullet of choice and remove approximately 2 gr of powder (experimental evidence that worked for me). I did this first by simply swapping out the 125 for a 150 and had immediate pressure signs, removed 5 grains and started a work up. Removing 2 grains has worked best for me on this current CZ ammo everyone has.
Now, when it comes to feeding my Remington 799, there will be NO corrosive crap fed to it. But I have already got a couple hundred rounds or once fired or new brass just waiting for me to love.

i picked up a couple hundred from mystic precision a few months back good fast service ,hes a sponser on here

Mystic Precision is the place, he either has or can order pretty much anything.

Or if you don't mind the corrosive hassle, you can as rookie_wildcat said, just switch out the bullet. Myself, when I did this, I also switched the powder as I find the surplus has fairly inconsistant powder charges.
