I just bought a Norc M14 and would like to attend one of the Clinics that I have read so much about. Does anyone know when the next one in Ontario is? Are there ever any around the Kitchener area, or just Toronto?

When you go to one of those Clinics do you bring your rifle? (probably a dumb question)

I bought my M14 new from a guy in EE that works at a gunshop, he had put a ARMS 18 mount and a Bushnell 10x 3200 scope on it, should I remove all of that stuff before attending one of those Clinics?

Yes, mid January in Barrie and then 3rd Sat of March. I will have to firm up the dates with my kind sponsors. :D Will get back to you all once we firm up the dates. Now I just gotta get a Kitchener/ Waterloo area venue for Feb. Any takers to be my pointman for Feb in KW area gun clubs? :D
Cheers,
Barney

Great.....now do I drive 4 hours to Barrie in Jan.... or wait impatiently till Mar and drive 2 hours to Ottawa ....or buy another poly after jan and go to both...lol.....Mistys or Nu Den....ummmmm

About 2 hours of a drive to Barrie for me, but I will do it unless there is going to be another clinic in the Southwestern part of ontario.

4 hours to Barrie for me. But what the hell? You can't put a price on sound advice and experience of people like Hungry. Us M14 noobs need to get the straight goods.

I'll be at the March Clinic in Vankleek Hill (VKH) - it'll be my second (I'm a slow learner). Actually I have an ARMS mount, trigger parts and various bolt and other springs to install, so it might be interesting for others to see.

Just curious, but what do you bring? How long are they? and how much $$ is the Clinic (not including all the stuff I'm sure to buy...lol)

I'm bringing my cheque book :) I will upgrade whatever Hungry thinks I need. Not all Norcs and Polys are created equal, with the latest batch being somewhat improved overall. I am also going so that I can meet other gun nutz and shoot the sh1t. :)

I am definatetly in for the Kitchener/Waterloo clinic! Assuming of course work doesn't get in the way.

Been a loooong time since the clinic in Aylmer Hungry. Itchin to get to another one!

Search "clinic" in this forum to see Hungry's list for past clinics to answer your questions above. Download the videos from the stickies in this forum as well to get an idea of what to expect. Last years clinics were around $35.00- a real bargain! Definitely a must-go-to for any M14/M1a/M305 owner as it's a great hands-on clinic that is very well taught. :D
