Hello CGNr's

Have the need for RX shooting glasses, notice that not alot of "local" optometrists cater to this need or have even the remote knowledge of our sport specific requirements.
Caught an Add in Ontario Outdoors by Next Optical, they are a Ranger retailer. Fair enough.
Just wondering if anyone has experience with them directly or what other alternatives exist for sport specific optometrists in the Hamilton/Brantford/Niagara area?
Thanks in advance for all your input, not looking for advice on what glasses to get etc..just looking for experience(s) with Next Optical or other possible Optometrists ( I would really like to deal with an optometrist that's a shooter because they understand our needs!) in the afformentoned area.

Thanks again CGNr's, Break 'em all!

I bought Randolph Ranger shooting glasses (Prescription) from Next Optical and the service was great. Next Optical is also popular with police officers.

If Kitchener is not too far, check out Vincent Optical...Vincent is an IPSC / 3 Gun shooter so knows exactly what you need for shooting prescriptions and fitting.

Because you mention Ranger as a possible choice I can tell you from personal experience that Wayne Morgan at Morgan Optical in Olean NY is worth the 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive from Oakville. He has done my last 2 prescriptions for my Randolph Rangers and I couldn't be happier. He knows what he's talking about, price is fair and service is top notch.

I've bought a couple of pair of Rangers from Next Optical in Oakville, very nice people to deal with and I'd go back again no problem. Plus, my glasses are Bi-focal prescription and they work great. They sit high on my face so when I'm looking at targets or clays I'm looking through the centre of the lens and when I need to "read" or look at the bench the bi-focals are in a good position. Highly recommend them.
