NF 2.5-10x...24 or 32 objective?

I'm thinking of dropping a Nightforce 2.5-10 optic on top of an AR...

love to hear any experiences from someone whose used the larger 32 obj version.

Would like to keep the whole affair smallish, i.e. the 24...but my dimming eyesight aint what it used to be, so the 32 while much larger, interests me.

anyone else used this optic want to ring in?

24 v 32....

I have shot this optic before on an AR - a friends gun. It was a pleasure to shoot. I found the optics very clear and bright. I had an IOR 1-4x24 and again ample light through the 24...

I would only really think that the 32 would be a benefit with dusk/dawn shooting... remember that ALL NF also have the Ill ret which might help in these times also....

If it was a NCStar 24mm I might say your light transmission could drop off... BUT NF is a top name and you get lots of light transmission though it.

I am not an optics whore though.... so.....

I wear glasses and am nearsighted, hope that helps....

I have both of these scopes the 24mm on my M14 and the 32mm on a hunting rifle.
I can not see any significant difference in light gathering. The smaller objective makes mounting a bit easier on odd to mount rifles like my M14.
I would not hesitate to put another 24 on a rifle, especially a cqb type rig.
