Good day all,
I have a NF ATACR 4-16x42 that I just zeroed and set the Zero Stop/Zero Hold. With it set I am only able to get 13 Mils of elevation in the dial of the available 26 I believe? I realize with the Zero Hold I have 2 down and then whatever was taken up in the zero process; but with that I have seen most guys are still geting almost 2 revolutions in the 12 Mil dial and I am only getting one and a little bit.
Do I need taller rings to allow a different zero/more elevation available and re set the clutch?
For reference this scope is on a Savage Model 10 FCP-SR with the stock EGW rail and Med 34mm NF rings.
I was pretty sure the OEM rail (it is an EGW) was 20 MOA but maybe I am not remembering that correctly*
Any help is appreciated; I was also looking at getting a mount system to be able to transfer the glass between a couple of rifles so potentially that may be a solition but would like to know if I am missing something in the dialing process.
Thanks! And Happy New Year,
Andy
