Hopefully not going to get flamed for this, but...anyone know if there's a place in Canada that does NiB Battleworn? I know there's a couple places down south that do it (which doesn't help me)...wife really likes the look and wants her AR done in that finish. Aero used to have a builder set available but not anymore. Looks like this:

Thanks for that...I see they list battle worn under cerakote...maybe they can approximate the NiB Battleworn look.

Thanks for the info guys...I've asked under their dealer thread and I'll give them a shout to see if they can do it.

Well I'll be, I just googled it...I thought the NiB was "new in box" but it's "nickel boron". Put me down in the camp that likes that look--it doesn't have the "fake worn" look of others I've seen....more of a burnished metal look.

I've seen some other variation of battleworn colours...like copper, titanium, orangey-red (Aero)...but NiB is what the lady is after...

I wont flame but get her into classes, drop it, Use it in the rain and slide it on the benches and over time it will look like that.

Red Deer Shooting Center should be able to hook ya up too. They are with cerakote right now learning new techniques.

Surely there is someone local to BC that does it to save shipping costs?

Personally I've never been a fan of these types of finishes, but that said I'm having an AR done in battle worn burnt bronze by BBC as I type this. Looking forward to seeing their work first hand.

I personally wouldn't have picked NiB Battleworn (but the lady gets what she wants...yep, whipped!)...I'd lean more to this (flashy as heck but that's how I'd roll):
