Big game hunting in the Indian sub-continent saw much use of express double rifles plus shot and ball guns also commonly referred to as the “Paradox” (proprietary H&H terminology).
Came across this presentation of an old 20 bore Westley Richards Faunetta. Description is mostly in English language with some Hindi/Urdu statements sprinkled in the course of the narration.
May not be entirely out of place to mention that the express sights were highly optimistic on both the Faunetta and its older sibling the 12 bore Explora.
From personal experience, the Explora used on big bodied Gaur, Nilgai and Sambar, 85-100 yards was a reasonable and effective range from a perspective of hunting accuracy.
