I picked this up on the EE just recently and thought I'd share some #### along with a few really great features I had no idea about. It is the short version, in that the top rail stops at the front of the receiver. This rail cluster is light, the weight comes with all the extras of course. It took several minutes to install, very easy.
The real surprise came when I was doing a bit of research on the installation. This cluster separates into upper and lower hanguards by way of 2 spring loaded catches on either side of the system. Simply engage the catches simultaneously and rotate the lower downwards.
You are still left with 2 side rails and the top rail. Another nice feature is that on either side of the lower handguard, at the 7 and 4 o'clock positions you have 3 pre-dilled/tapped holes for yet more rails to add on in case what is already there isn't enough
As far as the upper handguard goes there is a channel on the top cut through the rail allowing the use of iron sights.
