Looks like a Normandy helmet with concrete powder finish.

I've only seen one like that before with that finish. And this example is in far better condition.

Lose the coat hanger wrapped around it and get it buff shined back to some sort of restored condition.

Yes of course. Honestly, leave this helmet alone. Original field camouflaged helmets like this are really nice to see.
