Nice leather holster for Ruger Super Blackhawk?

Looks like a practical setup.....how much?
Can you post a picture wearing the sling?

The total cost came to $169 shipped. Yep, I couldn't decide on shoulder holster or hip so I thought why not make something that does both. When I approached Joe about the idea he said he used to make a shoulder harness setup that used to do that so he knew exactly what I meant. The sling actually only cost me $30 so good deal on that.

I'll get back to you with a pic wearing it later.

Here's a pic of the sling....

Now, you can adjust it up and down and canter it as much or as little as you would like. I may have to adjust it down a tad when I put the pistol in it as it may ride too high. Also, I may replace the elastic side support strap with a leather one.

I'll have to try Laroche. I just got a Tanker holster for my G17 from El Paso Saddlery, very nice, but they take about 6 weeks to make them and get them up here.

Good looking shoulder rig. I had a friend locally who's into leather work and CAS shooting make up a couple of holsters for a two of my Rugers. The first is a John Wayne style rig he made up for my older model 5 1/2" Ruger Vaquero in 45 LC.

The second is a copy, along the lines of a Lawman model he made for my 4 5/8" SS Ruger convertable 45 LC/45 ACP.
