A friend of mine just bought a Tokarev from Lanz Shooting Supplies (located at Silverdale range). He is a revolver kind of guy and an avid hunter so I was somewhat surprised by his purchase.
I followed him into the store so I could Warm up from being down range as well as to chat with him as I hadn't seen him in a long while. He showed his ATT and was given his Tokarev. It came in an all leather holster with a mag in the pistol and one in the mag pouch on the holsters. I examined it and it is a 1945 made pistol. I played around with it and was amazed at it's tightness. It didn't rattle and when I tried to move the slide sideways on the frame, it wouldn't budge. It's like a bank vault. Well, I was so envious that I ordered one. They will be getting more in shortly. I have never handled old Tokarevs in such good condition. This will be number five for me. What a nice pistol .

Teapot,
Please update when you get yours. Curious if this is a one off or this batch is like that!

Lanz Shooting Supplies located at the Silverdale Gun Club in St. Anns Ontario just outside of Smithville.
Oh, and the price is $189. Some guy went in and bought ten pistols and also extra magazines.

I was told they were all good as they are late production. They have some 1945's and later. I guess they didn't have time to go through the rigours of the war. I did not see them all though and they had only two left. However they are getting more in of the same quality.
