Nickel finish polish/process

Hey everyone!

I recently acquired my first nickel plated revolver. What's the best product & process to polish out any very minor handling marks without putting even more buffing scratches? It's preowned, but NIB so they're extremely minor marks that can only be seen when looking extremely up close. Thanks for your help!

Just leave it,Thats what i would do.

polishing means removing material. Nickel plate is thin enough with out working to remove it.

I would leave it as is.
