Hi guys! Anyone know if you can polish a rough satin nickel finish to a semi gloss? I realize that metal prep, before plating determines the smoothness, but I was wondering if it could be smoothed slightly after the fact?
The finish in question, has almost a rough parkerized texture. I don't want to go super bright, but more of an "antique-ish gloss". Would it be thick enough that I wouldn't have to worry about polishing right through?
