Specifically I wanted a dual purpose device that can be used for observation at a distance as well as a firearms sight. I am looking at the GS-19R series from General Starlight Co. Inc. http://www.nvoptics.com
This unit can be tripod mounted and comes with a standard rail attach as well. I want to keep the cost at around 2k cdn or less.
