Night vision riflescope from Yukon Advanced Optics ...?

Found this on eBay (Yukon NVMT night vision scope), then went to check the company's website:

It's a cheap (300$) GEN 1 night vision scope 3x42mm with IR illum. and visible laser that can be mounted on weaver rails...

Anybody has input ?

I have one. Not bad for a GEN 1. (THey market it as GEN 1+)

It really depends on what your expectations are. For hunting, well, I'm not even sure you allowed to night hunt so I won't go there (I kill paper pretty much these days)

For night shoots it probably wouldn't work. The feild of view is way to small with the rifle adapter on it and without it ther are no cross hairs..

Oh and one more thing..

I use it on an airsioft gun, so I have no idea how well it holds a zero.

If you are serious about NV, there are reasonable GEN two's out now for around $1000-1500, and are available in Canada
