They would compare with a Sightron I would say. If you are in low light conditions you can see the differnece in the NXS.
I've only done the out-the-gunstore-window comparison, but I really couldn't tell the difference. Lighter, and I think the clicks were ever-so-slightly less tactile then the NXS. If they had a better reticle selection, I would have one on my PRS type rifle for sure.

I have a SIII 8-32 lrmoa and a NXS 8-32 NP2DD. there is absolutely no way to see something in one that I cannot see in the other one and I tried side by side in quite any light/weather condition possible .
both scopes are made in japan and I would not be surprised the glass is exactly the same
