This is what i did. My factory settings were perfectly fine on my Nightforce 8x32-56 with NP-R1 reticle. I pissed around with the ocular and now i can't find the sweet spot so if somebody has this scope then could you loosen the lock ring and turn the ocular all the way clockwise and remember how many turns back it was to the setting then that would be awesome. Probably doesn't apply to somebody who has adjusted their scope. This is one of those threads that screams flaming and i would flame it as well but....anyway, I did the recommended adjustments as per nightforce book but i think i just went to far and can't recover. Kinda like adding more salt to make the roast beef taste better after you overcooked it.

Folks, Let it be known that the Welsh have uncanny strength.Maybe Mr. Tomochan can be the first to do my request as i am in this pickle because of his great strength. Cheers bud.

Point the scope at the dull, overcast Lower Mainland sky with the paralax on "infinity". Then adjust the ocular (focus) until the crosshairs become clear. Then tighten the lock ring and keep "helpful" senior citizens away from your scopes. Thej opposite is also true ...the Old Man curses me roundly after I've been home for a visit and refocused his scopes for my eyes!
