Nightforce warranty

With my f350, many dealers threatened to refuse warranty. None ever did. I'm willing to bet the legal and social media s-storm it'd cause is enough discouragement.

Yup. I have had horrible luck with vortex. I was hoping it would pan out. Excellent glass, excellent features great looks. Poor internals. This was a viper PsT. I have heard the razors are fantastic, but they should be, they aren't cheap, but at that price I would be looking at a NF or used SB or us optics etc.

Chances are highest with Nightforce over any brand that warranty will never be required. And yes, we deal with thousands of top-end shooters and snipers and have feedback from around the world.

Best regards,

Peter

"My concern is not whether or not the warranty will be needed, it's how the company reacts when something IS needed...... "

We and most of the established dealers in Canada look after customers or they wouldn't be in business. Your imaginary " how the company will react" is exactly that.

Meanwhile, Nightforce continues to grow and dominate many of the shooting disciplines. This, with innovative reliable product and professional customer service which equates to market growth.

Best regards,

Peter

Peter,

It's not "imaginary". Some companies don't. I'm not saying NF is one of them - in asking, to learn.

I have an ATACR sitting at a dealer right now - a dealer that has been reported as NOT helping a customer out. I'll be confirming their commitment to support prior to completing my purchase.

I know that sometimes things can be lost in typing messages vs. verbal communication, but this is the second snarky post on this topic in the last week. Why?

We have simply outlined that Nightforce dealers and Nightforce look after their customers. If your dealer is not looking after you, this should be addressed by going directly to Nightforce.

Do you wish to have a contact name and number for Nightforce?

Regards,

Peter

I don't need it, but the gent above who was told that his local dealer wouldn't support him sure would.....

I hope that I never need the number, it's the "what if" that I want to be prepared for on a 3000$ optic.

Well I just got the word that Nightforce won't exchange my scope. Now I have to wait for them to fix it. ( about a month ) I even ask if I could pay and upgrade to a ATACR and was told no...

So Im pretty bummed that I paid 2K and still got a defective product. But thats the way my life goes...

So this scope is defective out of the box?

I only noticed the canted reticle once mounted in my SPUHR mount. Its not much but just enough to bug the sh!t out of me when shooting.

Im pretty sure I would win Lotto Max and die the next day or get hit by lightning on the way to collect my winnings. lol...

I am a little taken back by some of the snide comments about a simple question I asked about what everyone did about warranty? The "was it smuggled " comment had me very P#ssed. Wow hard to believe that would be the second comment especially from a dealer. I was actually going to call, but thought it was better if I didn't. The rest of the comments about dealers and where to buy from, buy from me cause no one else will take car of you. The arrogance and attitude is what gets me, if my money isn't good enough I will spend it where people appreciate it instead of expect it.
I buy my actions, barrels, stocks, scopes from who ever has it when I am building something, new or used it doesnt matter. There is no local dealer that sells what I would use for a build so I have to shop online.
I know a couple of places that for sure I won't be looking at when I make my next purchase!

This is a common thing with warranty. Straight out replacement or upgrade is extremely rare.
I can relate, I paid $130000.00 for my last car that was a complete lemon and all BMW would do is continue to fix it, and fix it and fix it some more. In the year I owned it BMW had it 7 months in total.

Friends of mine here in Regina had the EXACT same experience with an X5 Rick.
