Does anyone know what the diameter of the scope body at the ocular lens area is on the 2.5-10X24? The reason I ask is that I'm wondering what ring height "exactly" I would need to clear the rear sight drum on my PE90. The nightforce sight does not give this info., only ocular lens diameter which is not usefull as far as mounting goes. Schmidt and Benders sight makes all the dimensions of their scopes available limiting guess work and I wish nightforce would do the same. I'm thinking this scope with Badger rings on my B&T rail would be pretty cool on this rifle. Thanks for any info. anyone can provide, I'm not really looking for answers like, " get medium rings" or such.
