Why would he sigh?
.45 is still king in my mind for the 1911 platform.
It's great that nowadays, more people can expand their enjoyment for the platform.

We should celebrate the creation of the pistol and it's mechanical marvel by introducing it to people who by obvious proof love the platform, ie: from GSG to STI 2011 shooters. We shouldn't be limited to just one caliber.
You could say the same with other pistols I guess. People would be bored of SIG's or Glock's if they only came in 9mm.
